Look up your medications costs

Use the OptumRx Drug Pricing Tool to look up the estimated price of a medication based on pharmacies near you.

This tool is only a guide and the actual cost may vary. Estimated pricing is not specific to your benefit and is not available for all medications. The estimated pricing reflects 100% of the medication cost.

Important: The pricing tool shows copays only. After PCA dollars are applied, members must satisfy the deductible amount before copays apply.

How to manage medication costs

The Prescription Drug List (PDL) takes medications and places them into tiers, arranging them from lowest to highest cost.

Here are a few PDL tips:

  • Some medications might have coverage rules, which means there may be requirements — like getting an approval from your doctor — before filling them.
  • Prescription Drug Lists change frequently, so check yours often.
  • If a medication doesn't fit your budget, ask your doctor if you can use lower cost medication options.
